ORIGINAL 16-PAGE DESIGN
When our school orchestra was selected to perform at the 14th Annual Michigan Music Conference, the director asked me to design the program that would be distributed at the event. After consulting with him about the tone and style he was interested in seeing in the overall design, showing him magazine samples as inspiration pieces, I set to work. Each page was designed on Adobe InDesign from a blank page, without use of templates. I took the section photos used on pages 10 & 11, organazing students for each shot. Pages 14-16 were built around information garnered through a survey the orchestra director and I created together.

BRANDING
Musical Theatre Publicity
For more than a decade I have worked with the publicty & program team at Novi High School to promote the theatre department's musical productions. Each year we develop a large color poster, mini-posters for lockers, T-shirt designs and other promotional elements with a consistent theme, developing a clearly recognizable brand for our production.
SENIORS VS. STAFF
One of our fun traditions at Novi High School is the Seniors vs. Staff softball game. Most years I have provided promotional materials for staff to advertise the event through social media and printed posters outside their classrooms. The posters are designed to complement the year's promotional video concept. The posters here were inspired by "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LLÂ Cool J - the song featured in the video. I designed the template, took the photos, edited all images, and worked with each staff member to develop a fake boxer name to add personality to each one.
